WTTW-TV’s Geoffrey Baer recently dove into all the places across Chicago that make the city unique and will be highlighting these destinations in the upcoming documentary, “The Most Beautiful Places in Chicago”. From its beautiful architecture and landscapes to historical monuments scattered across the city, Chicago is a city unlike any other.
Known for his work in hosting and producing several series that explore the unique aspects of the Chicagoland area—from the suburbs to the ins and outs of downtown—Chicagoland native Geoffrey Baer is dedicated to telling the stories behind Chicago. Geoffrey Baer’s work with WTTW-TV takes viewers on tours of Chicago’s treasures, including a boat tour sponsored by the American Institute of Architects that follows the path of the Chicago River, which includes a look at The St. Regis Chicago along the way.
The 90-minute documentary sheds light on several magnificent destinations within Chicago, including The St. Regis Chicago, featuring its notable and impressive architectural design. The program is complete with an interview with world-renowned architect Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang, to gain her insights and vision on the 101-story structure and third-tallest building in Chicago.
Geoffrey Baer also interviewed Sean Linnane, executive vice president for Magellan Development Group, regarding the building’s engineering feats while admiring the view from one of the building’s 92nd floor residences.
