Whether you are looking to get bundled up and enjoy the winter weather, or stay warm indoors, there are a variety of activities you can do in the Chicago winter wonderland located right outside The St. Regis Chicago.

Just a quick trip to Millennium Park brings you to a holiday utopia. From ice skating to seeing the Cloud Gate (The Bean) sparkle in the winter air or covered in snow, it is surely a wonderful experience during the winter season. You can even participate in the Millennium Park Holiday Sing-Along to get into the holiday spirit and see the breathtaking skyline views of Chicago.

If you are looking to get a bit more festive, don’t forget about the Christkindlmarket! Located a short walking distance from The St. Regis Chicago, the Daley Plaza market is home to a variety of unique vendors offering food and beverage, gift and specialty items to help you experience some holiday cheer.

If you don’t want to go to a special event but still want to explore the delightful sights of Chicago during the wintertime, you can take a nice stroll along the Magnificent Mile. Here you can get a full view of holiday decorations and lights, and see Michigan Avenue’s lights sparkle!

If staying inside during the winter season is more your speed, there are several ways that you can still experience the festivities from the warmth indoors. Several rooftop bars surrounding The St. Regis Chicago winter-proof themselves to still offer great experiences without exposing yourself to the chilly air outside. Additionally, just down the road, you can visit the Art Institute of Chicago to get a beautiful view of the Neapolitan Creche, only available until January 8, 2023 — don’t forget to get a picture in front of the outdoor Lion statues decorated with holiday wreaths before you go inside!
