It has been an exciting and powerful journey to bring Vista Tower to life. As we look forward to move-ins and welcoming residents to their new homes later this summer, we’re pleased to reminisce on Vista Tower’s construction and the successful milestones that have occurred over the past few years.

Groundbreaking in 2016

In September of 2016, Vista Tower broke ground in Lakeshore East. The highly-anticipated kick off was celebrated by Magellan Development Group, Mayor Rahm Emanual, Alderman Brendan Reilly and Jeanne Gang, the architect behind Vista Tower. Those in attendance experienced a moment of history as Chicago’s third-tallest building began its ascent to becoming a member of the renowned skyline.
